As a kid, I had ideas as to what I wanted to be when I grew up. While those ideas never stuck, there was one central theme: making my parents proud. Then, the time for university came along and I entered UIC as a Pre-Law Economics major. A major that delighted my parents. Since I was doing well in my classes and had my parents’ blessing, I thought nothing would change my mind. But it did.
